Which Mopeka Sensor Should You Choose?

Currently, Mopeka offers two main propane sensors:

• Mopeka Standard Bluetooth Propane Sensor
• Mopeka PRO Check Bluetooth Propane Sensor

The PRO version provides improved performance, better temperature compensation and more accurate readings in demanding conditions.

Both sensors attach magnetically to the bottom of steel propane cylinders.

For aluminium cylinders, an optional mounting collar is available.

How Does It Work?

Installation Is Surprisingly Easy

Installing a Mopeka sensor only takes a few minutes.

Step 1

Wake up the sensor by pressing the Sync button.

Step 2

Place the sensor in the center of the bottom of the propane cylinder.

Step 3

Open the Tank Check app.

The sensor is detected automatically.

That's it.

• No drilling.

Need Remote Monitoring?

Bluetooth works reliably within approximately 10 metres (33 feet).

If you'd like to monitor your propane cylinders remotely—even while you're away from your RV—you can add the Mopeka WiFi Bridge.

The bridge uploads sensor data to the Mopeka Cloud, allowing you to view tank levels anywhere you have an internet connection.

Can Mopeka sensors be used outdoors?

Yes.

According to the manufacturer, the operating temperature range is approximately -50°C to +60°C (-58°F to +140°F), making them suitable for outdoor RV installations.

Can I monitor more than two sensors?

Yes.

The Tank Check app supports multiple sensors simultaneously.

The two-sensor limitation only applies to the standalone LED and LCD displays.

Can I mix Standard and PRO sensors?

Yes.
